Sen. Ashafa promised to use his office to ensure the implementation of the Federal Government’s housing policy which entails the provision of mass affordable housing for millions of Nigerians; as well as to rejuvenile economy through the creation of meaningful jobs for millions of young Nigerians.
Senator Ashafa made this declaration in his acceptance speech made available to the Eko Herald. President Buhari has recently approved the appointment of Sen. Gbenga Ashafa, who represented Lagos East at the Senate between 2011 to 2019 as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Authority of Nigeria.
He stressed on the need for synergy between Government and the organized private sector for a successful tenure to stimulate the economy.
Commending the level of work already done by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing under the leadership of Babatunde Fashola SAN, the Federal Housing Authority and other complementary agencies, Sen. Ashafa appreciated the confidence President Muhamadu Buhari has reposed in him.
